Had kathy come home yesterday but as normal she was full of cold now shes just gone back n left ruth with a soar throat n bunged up

each time she comes home one of us gets a cold n with ruth going into hospital , we have told her not to come home if she has a cold before ruth goes in for her op as it could jepordise it n she dont want that happening

she wasnt amused

Yes - make sure her blood pressure and that is kept low too - my aunty went in to hospital for a hysterectamy three weeks ago, and she got sent home three times for high blood pressure and only had the op last week in the end. Very stressful. You can get really cheap blood pressure monitors from any Lloyd's chemist (£9.99) and they're brilliant - Chris uses it all the time to monitor his blood pressure.

i got a cold about 3 weeks ago started with a sore throat  it ended up with bad cough

i could cope with the sore throat and runny nose but the cough was driving me daft

why is it when u get a cough its always worse at night arghhh just when u want your sleep as well

it the cooler damp air that irrates the cough plus when your in bed lying down doesnt help so proping yourself up in bed helps

And why is it that when men get colds it's always 300 million times worse than when women get colds??? Chris has a cold at the moment and he's been 'at death's door' for the last week, and I've had to make him lemsips and soup and keep him tucked up (yet he's still well enough to sneak off and buy a telly when my back's turned!!). But if I get ill I still have to do all the things I'd normally do!!
