went out for an hour only to return home and find that maggie ( my german shephard puppy )
had eaten a whole chicken !!
she must have had to jump for it as it was on the microwave on top of the worktop
rang the vets and got some liquid parrafin to give her to break down the bones
hopefully she will be ok

our staffies have always finished the chicken off bones the lot i think these days the chicken is raised and killed so fast thet the bones arnt like they used to be they are very soft so she will be ok mine have done it for 6 years never a problem......yet years ago when we had boxers we used to cringe at the thought
