I found it an immensely helpful post. I would still be pretty hesitant about doing the 'sedating' bit, but the advice given on the 'handling' section was very informative. Thanks!

Excellent piece of common sense here. Most helpful.

My problem is I have a phobia about handling a live fish. I have been keeping fish of some sort or another for 45 years and still cannot touch a live fish. That is where a willing wife comes in handy.
