I still cant get my head around a relatively low protein feed giving the growth rates that some are reporting.
especially feeding it all year round and not just winter
I'm still using Koi excellence but thats because I got it free.
the fish love it but it does produce a lot of water borne protein when fed regularly.
I've not heard of anyone getting protein problems with hikari so perhaps they have got the balance right?

i am well impress more expensive but worth every penny
i have tried a range of different foods over the years since having the pond and this is the best by far
no more nt labs for me and i thought that was good stuff till my water started to turn a funny yellowy colour
thats gone since going on hikari
I think my fish are just fussy
when i was switching over from nt labs to the wheatgerm i mixed the two together and they would pick out the wheatgerm first then eat the nt labs
(i also see you have joined kpuk were only a little forum but you will be made very welcome also they like piccies of fish ponds gardens ect)
does it seem that the fish have not grown so fast this year or is me
