there seems to be a lot of folks turning to hikari this year and everyone seems to be giving it the thumbs up too.

I still cant get my head around a relatively low protein feed giving the growth rates that some are reporting.

especially feeding  it all year round and not just winter

I'm still using Koi excellence but thats because I got it free.

the fish love it but it does produce a lot of water borne protein when fed regularly.

I've not heard of anyone getting protein problems with hikari so perhaps they have got the balance right?

i havent noticed any protein problems with it

i am well impress more expensive but worth every penny

i have tried a range of different foods over the years since having the pond and this is the best by far

no more nt labs for me and i thought that was good stuff till my water started to turn a funny yellowy colour

thats gone since going on hikari

I have a 2kg tub of EA1 and the fish just refuse to eat it

I think my fish are just fussy

I found my fish didnt take to the food when I switched from wheat germ to Orchard fisheries in the summer and then to Hikari wheatgerm recently. I just think they realise the difference in the food and take time to get used to it.
